about

In the year 199X... a vague future time from science-fiction of the past. '80s sci-fi is the theme for my newest song, channeling a mix of video-game inspired aesthetics and cinematic synth scores. It's a little bit of a hard song to categorize, but it starts off as "space hip hop" of a sort, then transforms into a hammering onslaught of lots and lots of beats. This was a fun project, not just for making the song, but also making the fake Famicom (Japanese NES) label. The song doesn't utilize any Famicom samples (although I've done that plenty in the past), but I thought the idea behind the song would fit nicely as a retro game cartridge.

about

Macro Nagasaki, Japan

I'm getting back into making music again after a six year hiatus. Most of the music here so far is older stuff, from 2003-2007, but I've posted some brand new tracks from 2013 and 2014. Working on a new album right now (two, perhaps!). Stay tuned!
